This interactive presentation will provide the basics of the Stark Law as it applies to common scenarios facing Physician Liaisons.  This presentation will not go into the granular aspects of the Stark Law as most of the Stark Law Exceptions do not apply to Physician Liaisons.  Attendees will understand that any “benefit” provided to a Physician, regardless of how small, implicates the Stark Law.  However, there are Exceptions that do apply that will permit the normal interactions between Physician Liaisons and Physicians.  There will also be a Q & A from Physician Liaisons asking real world questions with guidance from the speaker.
